Australia Zoo - Part III - Birds

There are so many colourful birds in Australia.
King Parrot

Rainbow Lorikeet

".....and so tell me how's the seed Harry?"

"Not bad George...a little dry if you ask me...try some!"

Crimson Rosella

Major Mitchell Cockatoos

We hope you enjoyed the birds as much as we did...although Marley and Jasper are a bit naughty and love to chase them around the yard when they see birds on the grass. Does your dog chase birds too?

Not sure if I answered your camera question, over on lessons from 4legs post http://lessonsfrom4legs.blogspot.com/2010/06/learning-to-be-calm-and-having-fun.html but i gave some random thoughts.

  3. hmmm. . . walking issue's. . . Not sure if the issue is the barking or not walking nice, but if you hop on over to http://lessonsfrom4legs.blogspot.com/ and check our archives there is quite a lot on loose leash walking. Also check the link to sue ailsby's training levels. If it is the barking, I'm not much help as we are just learning to conquer that ourselves (heave sighs hereLOL) But you could check the archives there too. Keep me posted if you find anything that works.

  5. Thanks Katie. I will scour through your archives for some ideas. They both pull on the lead when they are being walked together. We find Jasper is the dominant one so we have to let him be in front and then all is fine. They stop barking once the excitement has worn off, it's just a bit embarassing leaving the house with all the racket. Once they're out and about they settle down and have fun and so do we. Thanks again.
