Visiting Opa and Oma

Once a week we visit Opa and Oma. Like the rest of the family we often enjoy Oma’s Schnitzel for dinner….even Marley and Jasper. It’s a real treat and a yummy change from their usual dog food.

Opa and Oma have a swimming pool and the children spend hours swimming and splashing about. Marley and Jasper love to have a swim too, but only if I come in with them. Marley will jump right in and swim to me.

Jasper prefers to stay outside the pool, but his favourite game as usual is to play ball.

He will come right close the pool and push the ball into the water with his nose or his foot…

…and then spend the next little while yelping with joy trying to get the ball out again with his mouth.

It sometimes takes a few attempts at pawing the water until the ball comes closer….

…and sometimes he needs a little help from his big brother.

There are lots of new places to explore at Opa and Oma’s house…

and our fresh water comes straight from a water fountain brought over from Austria…

After their swim they will jump up on the pool furniture and have a nap…

…there are just enough chairs for the whole family…

…and even two extra for the puppies…someone looks very happy about that don’t you think?

Then when night time comes we get ready to go home until next time…

Opa and Oma spoil us all!
